Memories From A short Visit
This summer, we took a short and unexpected trip back to the beautiful island where we grew up. I packed a few cameras with me — my trusty Expio point-and-shoot, and two Holga models, including a wide-angle pinhole camera.
Since it wasn’t exactly a vacation, I didn’t have much time to photograph the island the way I wanted. Instead, I made the most of two quiet moments — one early morning and one on our last evening in town. I stepped out from our oceanfront hotel, camera in hand, determined to shoot a few rolls and capture the familiar sights that still felt like home.
