Univesal + Cinestill

During my visit to Universal Studios Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights, I brought along my 35mm film camera and a roll of Cinestill 800T—a film stock made for the night.

Most of my shots focused on the neon signs scattered throughout the park: glowing reds, cool blues, and electric greens cutting through the darkness and fog. Cinestill 800T, originally adapted from Kodak’s motion picture film, is tungsten-balanced, which means it thrives under artificial light. Its signature halation effect—those soft red glows around bright highlights—gave the photos a dreamy, cinematic look straight out of a movie.
